In addition, investment projects exceeded $1.5 billion in 2024, up from $1.08 billion in 2023. Recent agreements between the two countries cover key sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, and infrastructure. A notable development is the establishment of the Uzbek-Emirati Investment Company, which manages a portfolio of $200 million. Both nations have ambitious goals to enhance their cooperation further, targeting a tenfold increase in trade by 2030 and aiming to raise the total investment to $50 billion. The focus will be on innovative sectors, including artificial intelligence, digitalization, and green energy, with working groups dedicated to each area. The strengthening ties between Uzbekistan and the UAE reflect a shared vision for sustainable development and regional stability, underscoring the growing importance of this bilateral relationship.
